CURRENT PRICES:
1. Introductory Special: I will edit the first 10 pages of your manuscript for the low price of $25.00 with no obligation. This includes all of the perks of full-service editing, including extensive comments and minor rewrites.
2. Need an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads? For the nominal price of $25, I will write an honest and detailed review of any book sent to me via email in pdf format. Before posting my review, you will receive a copy along with the star rating. If you don't like it, discard it without payment. If you approve, simply pay me and I'll publish the review on the site of your choice within 2 days of receipt. Want it published on more than one site? Sure, just add $10 extra to post on the second site.
3. Full-Service Editing: This service encompasses all proofing, editing, minor rewrites and extensive comments. Whenever I make a substantial change, I detail it in comments so you know exactly why I did it. I track the changes and add significant suggestions to most pages. I also offer thoughts and tips designed to improve both current and future works. On a recent 250-page manuscript, for example, I added nearly 800 comments that ranged from minor grammar explanations and thoughts on current trends to suggestions for major rewrites. For this service, I charge under four cents (3.9 cents) per word.
4. Basic Editing: This service still covers most of the editing, proofing and minor rewrites that the deluxe service provides, but comments and suggestions don't often appear. I won’t usually tell you why I did something, but I’ll still do it. In other words, the finished manuscript will be similar to one with full-service editing, but without most of the comments and explanations. Current charge: 2.9 cents per word. You may further reduce that price by taking advantage of the discounts below!
5. Proofreading: This covers all proofreading, grammar and spelling as well as a small amount of general cleanup. It will not include rewrites or extensive edits. No comments or suggestions. Cost: 2 cents per word. (See discounts below.)
6. Formatting and Technical Help: Please email me for help with formatting books, publishing with Create Space, or other technical help. Prices vary, but I will meet or beat any reputable editor's charge.
Please submit double-spaced, standard pages, with Times New Roman, Courier or Arial 12 pt fonts and one inch or more margins. I accept manuscripts emailed in MS Word or a compatible format.
